Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Inkrypt at www.inkrypt.online, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service Description
Inkrypt provides a free encrypted online notepad that lets you create, store, and share notes using client-side encryption. Notes are encrypted in your browser before being sent to our servers. We do not require account registration to use the core service.
You can also create secure share links with optional passwords, expiry times, and view limits. When a share link expires or reaches its view limit, the encrypted copy stored on our servers is permanently removed.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time to improve security, performance, or usability.
Data Retention & Deletion
Notes remain stored on our servers as encrypted data until you delete them, unless you set an expiry time or view limit on a shared link. Shared notes are automatically deleted when those limits are reached.
If you have the correct password for a note, you can delete it at any time. Once deleted, the encrypted data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Because note content is encrypted client-side, we cannot read what you write. We may still delete stored encrypted data to prevent abuse or enforce these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Inkrypt to:
- Upload, share, or distribute illegal content
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Abuse the service through automated scraping, flooding, or denial-of-service activity
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others
We reserve the right to delete stored encrypted data or restrict access when we believe these terms have been violated or when necessary to protect the service and its users.
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for passwords you set on notes and for keeping share links secure.
- Because encryption happens in your browser, we cannot recover lost passwords or decrypt notes if you forget your credentials.
- You need an active internet connection to create, read, edit, or share notes.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Advertising & Analytics
Inkrypt may display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free service. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your cookie preferences and applicable regulations.
We may also use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how the site is used and to improve performance. These services may collect anonymous usage data such as page visits, browser type, and device information.
Advertising and analytics partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. You can manage ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
While we use industry-standard encryption and take security seriously, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You use Inkrypt at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, lost passwords, or unauthorized access resulting from user actions.
